meet the founders

Shawn brings over 20 years of system integration experience to Atlas Automation. With continuous training and hands-on field experience, he's known for bringing innovative ideas to every project. From programming style and SCADA software recommendations to PLC hardware selection, VFD and starter applications, and more. He's typically the first person on site, walking the job, reviewing plans and specs, and working through the analysis required to find the most direct route to a working system. That groundwork is what makes his quotes accurate: he's estimating from experience - evaluating spec sheets, weighing hardware options, and finding more cost-effective ways to achieve the same results. Shawn is often the person contractors meet first, and the one who stays involved through the process to make sure the solution scoped at the start is the one that actually gets built.

Jared does the initial review of each project Atlas Automation takes on and makes it a reality - either by taking the project on directly or closely delegating the design and fabrication through to completion. He handles everything from submittals and panel design to quality control, with deep working knowledge of circuit design grounded in the National Electrical Code. As fabrication manager, Jared runs internal factory acceptance testing on every system before it ships, verifying function, design integrity, and code compliance. He maintains a UL 508A/698A MTR Certification and continuously investigates new ways to streamline and design panel fabrication.
