meet the founders

A smiling man with a beard and a shaved head, crossing his arms, standing against a dark textured background.

Shawn brings 20 years of communication systems design and integration, paired with 20 years of PLC automation experience to every project he scopes. He's typically the first person on site - walking the job, reviewing plans and specs, and working through the analysis required to find the most direct route to a working system. That groundwork is what makes his quotes accurate: he's not estimating from a drawing alone, he's estimating from having actually seen the site, evaluating spec sheets, or just asking  the right questions. Shawn is often the person contractors meet first, and the one who stays involved through the process to make sure the solution scoped at the start is the one that actually gets built.

Jared oversees quality control on every drawing that leaves Atlas Automation. He has deep working knowledge of circuit design grounded in the National Electrical Code. As fabrication manager, he's responsible for getting panels built correctly - from internal layout to final wiring - and for running factory acceptance testing before anything ships, checking each system for function, design integrity, and code compliance. He also maintains a UL 508a/698a Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR) Cert, which is the certification work that allows the panels Atlas Automation builds to carry a UL label. Between panel design, fabrication oversight, and UL compliance, Jared is the reason what leaves the shop is built right and documented to prove it.
